In this role, you will perform engineering work on water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure projects. Day-to-day activities include developing plans and specifications, preparing reports and cost estimates, and conducting system modeling and alternative analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum academic coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
  • 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training Certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
  • Work on engineering planning and design projects
  • Prepare reports, plans, and specifications
  • Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
  • Conduct system modeling and permitting and alternative analysis
  • Provide engineering services during construction
  • Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
