The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Engineer to join its world-class EHS team located in Berkeley, MO. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in environmental management within a leading aerospace and defense organization.
In this position, you will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental management systems, processes, and programs. You will apply your knowledge and expertise in stormwater management, regulatory reporting, and field sampling to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
This role is expected to be 100% onsite, working closely with site stakeholders to assess the impact of emerging stormwater issues on company operations. You will also interface directly with state and federal regulatory agencies, supporting environmental reporting and compliance activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 3+ years of experience in Environmental Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience interacting directly with state and federal regulatory agencies.
- 3+ years of experience with environmental compliance, spill response, and water quality.
- Stormwater Permit/Management experience required.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental management systems, processes, and programs.
- Work with site stakeholders to assess the impact of emerging stormwater issues on company operations.
- Support site interface with state and federal regulatory agencies and environmental reporting.
- Apply knowledge and expertise in stormwater management, regulatory reporting, and field sampling.
- Conduct stormwater field sampling and monitoring activities.
- Assist in spill response and water quality compliance efforts.
- Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports to regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions for environmental issues.
