NORESCO, a Carrier company, is one of the largest energy services companies in the U.S., helping clients decarbonize, modernize, and electrify aging infrastructure. As a Construction Manager - Field, you will support the construction team and coordinate a project team responsible for managing customers, subcontractors, and vendors for design-build Energy Savings Projects.

In this role, you will lead project plans, schedules, and budgets, and identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to ensure project completion. You will manage aspects of a project by allocating resources, driving strategic planning, and assigning tasks to ensure targets are met.

You will prepare reports to communicate the status of the project within the project team and set objectives to guide the team in meeting project targets, budgets, and milestones. You will identify project problems and recommend solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications.

You may act as the primary contact with the customer, developing a professional relationship to understand their needs and meet demands within the contracted scope. You will also support the business development team with writing proposals for projects and may have contact with client executives to ensure accurate, timely, and clear information.

Requirements

  • Experience coordinating a project team responsible for managing customers, subcontractors, and vendors for design-build energy savings projects
  • Ability to lead project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Proven ability to allocate resources, drive strategic planning, and assign tasks to meet project targets
  • Experience preparing reports to communicate project status within a project team
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify project problems and recommend solutions
  • Experience acting as a primary customer contact and developing professional relationships
  • Ability to support business development with proposal writing and communicate with client executives
