About this role

Brightcore Energy provides end-to-end energy efficiency and clean energy measures to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. We develop and implement geothermal heating and cooling, solar, battery storage, and other renewable solutions.

As Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Geothermal Development team by managing both in-office and on-site responsibilities. You will collaborate on construction plans, budgets, timelines, and oversee drilling operations and subcontractor activities under the Construction Project Manager.

You will coordinate deliverables on monday.com, manage Procore data including logs and change orders, and lead the permitting process. Working alongside engineering teams and the drilling operations team, you will ensure design specifications align with project requirements and coordinate equipment rentals.

This role offers the chance to contribute to the expanding growth of our geothermal development projects. You will gain exposure to end-to-end project management in the clean energy sector, from site preparation through quality control and budget monitoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience with project management (both field work and remote office work) in general construction.
  • Experience with construction project management software such as Procore and monday.com.
  • Knowledge of geothermal or renewable energy construction practices and permitting processes.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and third-party suppliers.
  • Familiarity with drilling operations oversight and equipment coordination.
  • Strong understanding of quality control measures, safety regulations, and site preparation protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in collaborating closely with project stakeholders to craft comprehensive construction plans, budgets, and timelines aligned with project goals.
  • Support on-site project management activities, including overseeing drilling operations and subcontractor activities under the guidance of the Construction Project Manager.
  • Lead the permitting research, submittals, and approvals process.
  • Coordinate all project deliverables on monday.com, involving engineering, drilling operations, subcontractors, vendors, and the Construction Manager.
  • Establish and manage Procore data, including daily logs, RFIs, invoice approvals, budget, and change orders.
  • Collaborate in creating a comprehensive master project schedule for execution and work alongside engineering teams to ensure design specifications align with project requirements.
  • Assist in resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and labor, to optimize construction efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Support in monitoring project expenses, tracking costs, and providing comprehensive budget status reports to senior management.
