About this role
XYZ Reality is the creator of the world's first and only engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution, purpose built for the construction industry. The Lead Site Engineer serves as the senior field representative on major projects, overseeing daily site team activities and acting as the primary point of coordination between the team and the client.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate daily activities of Site Engineers and Graduate Site Engineers, ensuring all workflows and QA standards are followed. You will also perform core site engineer tasks including progress capture against BIM models and on-site quality inspections using XYZ's Augmented Reality device, The Atom.
You will drive adoption of the XYZ platform among client teams and stakeholders, attend weekly coordination meetings to review quality issues and progress, and monitor issues raised by the engineering team to ensure they are closed out. The role also involves coaching and supporting Site Engineers to maintain high delivery standards and escalating risks or performance issues to project management when necessary.

Requirements
- Experience working on large scale construction projects.
- Experience supervising or coordinating small teams.
- Understanding of construction drawings, BIM models, and site workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
- Comfortable using digital construction tools and new technologies.
- Basic IT Skills (Microsoft Suite).
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of Site Engineers and Graduate Site Engineers on the project.
- Ensure all team members follow company workflows, QA procedures, and data capture standards.
- Drive adoption of the XYZ platform among client teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct progress tracking against BIM models using XYZ’s Augmented Reality Device – The Atom.
- Perform on-site QA inspections and record findings within the XYZ platform.
- Attend and contribute to weekly coordination meetings with the client to review quality issues and progress.
- Monitor quality issues raised by the engineering team and ensure they are reviewed and closed out by the client.
- Provide coaching and support to Site Engineers to maintain high delivery standards.
