About this role
CLS Health is a growing, physician-led healthcare system in Houston, Texas that is rethinking patient care through holistic, multispecialty services. We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Facilities & Construction Department in delivering high-quality infrastructure and facility improvement projects.
In this role, you will assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination while tracking milestones, budgets, and action items. You will coordinate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors, and manage project documentation including drawings, permits, and meeting minutes.
You will support bid solicitation and contractor procurement activities, track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence, and conduct site visits to document construction progress. The role involves preparing project status reports and executive updates for internal stakeholders.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of facility and renovation projects within a dynamic healthcare environment. You will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on improving healthcare infrastructure for the Houston community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction, project coordination, or project management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
