In this role, you will lead design coordination of municipal water and wastewater projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams. You will develop technical analyses, report writing, and conceptual through detailed designs while organizing project teams to support execution.

You will lead project delivery against established budgets, schedules, and quality expectations, providing clear and focused leadership on all project functions. The role includes participating in business development activities and leading proposal submissions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemical or Civil Engineering, or a related field, plus 6+ years of relevant experience in municipal water/wastewater projects
  • Previous experience in design of water and wastewater treatment plants
  • Registration with APEGA as a P.Eng or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, including a good combination of office and field experience (preferred)
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary project coordination including structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality

Responsibilities

  • Design coordination of municipal water/wastewater projects that include multi-disciplinary engineering teams (structural, architectural, building mechanical, process mechanical, I&C, electrical, etc.)
  • Development and preparation of technical analysis, report writing, and conceptual / preliminary / detailed designs
  • Organizing project teams to support project design and execution
  • Leading project delivery against established budgets, schedules, and quality expectations
  • Provide clear and focused leadership on all project functions related to project design, project control, and construction administration
  • Participate in business development activities including leading and development of all aspects of proposal submissions
  • Create a team environment that supports AECOM's client focus, where employees meet the expectations, requirements, and agreements of our clients
  • Define the project quality requirements and ensure compliance with AECOM, APEGA, and client quality policies and procedures
