About this role

This role is accountable for multiple projects, with primary responsibility for financial, schedule, quality, and safety objectives. The Project Manager ensures projects are constructed safely in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.

Day-to-day duties include contract administration, scheduling, planning, cost control, and coordination with jobsite supervision. The manager coordinates with the Superintendent regarding labor, equipment, subcontractors, material suppliers, and construction means and methods to achieve efficiency and cost effectiveness.

The position is office and field based, requiring travel to job sites and client meetings. The Project Manager builds effective relationships and solves problems with project team members, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.

This role supports the company's core values centered on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Teamwork, each built upon the foundation of Integrity. The Project Manager also manages and trains Project Engineers assigned to the project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience required
  • BS Degree in Construction Management or related discipline required
  • Field experience in light commercial concrete construction or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of project management, scheduling, and estimating
  • Ability to anticipate problems and coordinate with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for financial, schedule, quality, and safety objectives for multiple projects
  • Manage contract administration, scheduling, planning, and cost control
  • Coordinate with Superintendent on labor, equipment, subcontractors, material suppliers, and construction means and methods
  • Complete project billings in a timely manner
  • Manage change orders and RFPs, and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Maintain quality control on assigned projects and provide job progress reports
  • Perform job close-out and furnish final cost and labor productions to estimating department
  • Manage and train Project Engineers assigned to the project
