About this role
At Tractebel, part of the ENGIE group, we design and build the energy infrastructures of tomorrow. As a Design Engineer specializing in nuclear reinforced concrete detailing, you will contribute to some of the most demanding and strategic nuclear projects in the world, at the heart of the energy transition.
In this role, you will transform calculation studies into exploitable 3D models for construction, acting as the key interface between design and execution. You will produce and verify reinforcement plans from finite element analysis results, ensuring compliance with standards and constructability requirements.
You will collaborate closely with the client, the constructor (MCWC), and the Design Liaison Team to define the Detailing Briefing Pack. You will also lead a team of 3D drafters and a civil engineer, including remote management, to guarantee the quality and technical coherence of the models.

Requirements
- Engineering degree in civil engineering or structures (ESTP, CHEC, INSA or equivalent).
- Significant experience in the design of nuclear reinforced concrete structures, including static and dynamic analyses.
- Mastery of Eurocodes, RCC-CW, and finite element calculation tools.
- Solid experience in detailed execution studies and BIM environment.
- Knowledge of new nuclear projects and associated construction constraints.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and technical writing skills in French and English.
- Ability to work in complex environments and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Produce and verify reinforcement plans from finite element calculation results, respecting standards and constructive requirements.
- Participate in technical exchanges with the client, the constructor (MCWC), and the Design Liaison Team to define the Detailing Briefing Pack.
- Analyze and challenge detailing methodologies (Detail Method Statement) to optimize solutions.
- Lead the production of 3D models (CPM, CBM, CDM) and ensure their technical coherence and constructability.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 3D drafters and a civil engineer, including remote management.
- Guarantee the quality of models as a reliable reference for execution.
- Produce technical deliverables for a building package within contractual deadlines.
- Write associated documents: hypothesis notes, calculation notes, feasibility studies, and meeting reports.
