In this role, you will perform structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems. You will assist in preparing drawings and specifications, conduct site investigations to document existing conditions, and coordinate with staff and clients on projects.

You will join a growing Buildings Sector team in New York City that values collaboration, technical excellence, and innovation. The team works on projects of varying size and complexity, enhancing conventional designs with smarter, more resilient systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
  • 3-6 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer
  • P.E. license preferred; S.E. license considered an asset
  • Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM)
  • Working knowledge of REVIT
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions

Responsibilities

  • Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems
  • Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications
  • Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions
  • Coordinating with staff and clients on projects
  • Performing structural analysis using computer software such as RISA, SAP, or RAM
  • Supporting renovation, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation projects as needed
