About this role

We are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer to support structural design for commercial and institutional facility projects. This role is a good fit for an entry-level or early-career engineer with exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, structural analysis, and building design.

In this role, you will assist with structural drawings, models, details, calculations, and construction documents. You will support the design of structural elements including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, foundations, and framing systems, and help prepare calculations and analysis models under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will use Revit and AutoCAD to update drawings, details, plans, and project documentation, and support structural analysis and design work using RISA or similar engineering software. You will also coordinate structural layouts with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil teams, and review markups from senior engineers to update drawings accurately.

This position offers the opportunity to learn internal design standards, code requirements, quality control procedures, and project delivery workflows. You will also assist with field observations, existing condition reviews, RFIs, submittals, and construction phase support, building a strong foundation for your engineering career.
