About this role

Plans, coordinates, and supervises field operations of water/wastewater projects. Provides technical direction and is responsible for safety, costs, productivity, profitability, and overall quality of the work including self-performed work.

Oversees the means and methods, manpower, equipment, and material resources required to accomplish project goals. Develops and manages the construction plan with the project manager for successful execution, ensuring coordination of schedules internally and with subcontractors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' construction project supervision.
  • BS degree in construction related field.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Projects worked in excess of $200 million in size.
  • Experience managing self-performed work and subcontractors.
  • Understanding of prime contract terms, contract documents, subcontract agreements, and purchase order agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the means and methods, manpower, equipment, and material resources required to accomplish goals.
  • Develops and manages the construction plan with the project manager for the successful execution of the work.
  • Ensures the project team coordinates schedules both internally and externally with subcontractors for monthly updates.
  • Ensures project superintendents identify the most efficient and effective flow of work to maintain highest production for all trades.
  • Oversees the development of the CPM project schedule with project superintendents and project manager.
  • Oversees the procurement process with the project team for proper coordination and alignment with the CPM schedule.
  • Oversees timely completion of all punch lists and develops a schedule for successful startup and commissioning of all systems.
