About this role
The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice (PDP) is the centre of excellence for the delivery of infrastructure projects, combining the best in project management and design management. We have several exciting vacancies for talented Project Managers to join our expanding Defence Infrastructure market, based in our Epsom office.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction, ensuring schemes are delivered to budget and programme through RIBA Stages 0-7. You will manage stakeholder liaison with clients on our expanding portfolio of the biggest and most challenging projects across the Defence market.
You will work within an internationally renowned consultancy, collaborating with a team of professionals across the Infrastructure PDP. The position combines agile working from our Epsom office with time at client offices and sites, offering variety and exposure to a wide range of challenging projects.

Requirements
- A Project Management, Engineering, Building Surveying, or Architectural background with design management, project management, and contract administration experience.
- Chartered with the APM or equivalent professional Engineering qualification / chartership.
- A hard-working and flexible individual who is a team player.
- Great attention to detail, reliability, proactivity, and initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction.
- Ability to manage projects to budget and programme through RIBA Stages 0-7 or sector equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Deliver project management and contract administration through the project life cycle.
- Ensure a common understanding of requirements, scope, programme, costs, constraints, risk, and interfaces across the team.
- Identify and agree project objectives with the Project Director and develop a strategy for achieving these.
- Identify, escalate, and manage any matters that could pose a potential contractual/commercial risk to AtkinsRéalis.
- Build, motivate, maintain, coach, guide, and develop the project team; communicate, liaise, and engage with clients on a project-by-project basis.
- Deliver governance arrangements for projects within corporate and business policies, directives, guidance, and procedures to ensure a robust outcome.
- Manage risk, opportunity, and mitigation measures for the project; administer and negotiate change control from inception through to completion.
- Monitor and report project performance against programme, technical quality, financial, and KPI targets, both internally and externally.
