As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take a lead role on civil design and packages of work across wastewater and clean water projects. You will liaise with the client, supply chain, and other project stakeholders to coordinate designs and prepare high-quality construction-ready documentation.

You will collaborate closely with some of the country’s most prominent water companies and contractors within a multidisciplinary team. Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or other directly related degree
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with membership of ICE, CIWEM, or IWO
Strong technical design experience on water projects
Good working knowledge and understanding of Water Industry Clients and Contractors
Good self-motivation, influencing and people management skills
Knowledge and experience of BIM led design and digital tools such as REVIT / Civils 3D
Good working knowledge and understanding of applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water Specifications
Experience across wastewater and clean water projects, both non-infra and infrastructure

Responsibilities

Take a lead role on civil design and/or packages of work
Liaise with other disciplines and coordinate designs with team members and supply chain
Liaise with client, the supply chain and other project stakeholders
Preparation of high-quality design drawings and associated Construction-Ready documentation
Preparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables
Assist in achieving wider business goals for positive Safety, Health, Quality and Sustainability outcomes
Promote a culture of innovation and fostering continuous improvement
Mentor and support the development of less experienced members of staff
