About this role

At Stanley Martin Homes, we believe your work should have a purpose. As an Assistant Neighborhood Construction Manager, you will serve as the second in command for quality control, scheduling contractors, and keeping the site clean, safe, and working efficiently.

Your days will be fast paced and exciting, starting before the usual office staff on site at your neighborhood. You will complete tasks like ordering building materials, reviewing and confirming selections for each home built, and building relationships with sales, purchasing, and construction teams throughout the building process.

You will be the right hand of your Construction Manager and a big part of making sure our homes are built to our standards and delivered to our homebuyers on time. This role requires active listening, confidence, and respect when communicating with homeowners and trade partners.

Requirements

  • Excited to collaborate in a team environment

  • Has used a customer service approach in previous work
  • Excited and eager to learn new technology quickly
  • Has shown the ability to independently manage projects
  • Proficient in various software systems, including MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the second in command for quality control, scheduling contractors, and trade installations
  • Keep the site clean, safe, and working efficiently
  • Order building materials and review and confirm selections for each home built
  • Build relationships with sales, purchasing, and construction teams throughout the building process
  • Deliver each home to the homeowner on time and to Stanley Martin standards
  • Act as the right hand of the Construction Manager, supporting daily site operations
