Six Construct, a subsidiary of the BESIX Group, is the largest Belgian construction company in the Middle East. We seek a motivated UAE National Junior Structural Engineer to support delivery of flagship projects in Dubai, contributing to complex developments that shape the UAE's infrastructure.

The Junior Structural Engineer will participate in design and evaluation of tender and project design, assist in producing design reports using various FEM tools, and develop structural design packages under supervision. Site visits during construction ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.

Requirements

Graduate in Civil Engineering (Master's degree in Structural preferred).
Knowledge of steel and concrete structural design.
Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE, BS EN international codes and local regulations.
Knowledge of structural software and AutoCAD.
Must be a UAE National.

Responsibilities

Participate in design and evaluation of tender and project design.
Assist in production of design reports based on calculations performed with various FEM tools.
Develop project permanent and temporary works structural design packages under supervision of Senior Structural Engineers.
Participate in site visits during the construction phase to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
Ensure structural design complies with design and building codes and standards (ACI, Eurocode, British Standard, AASHTO, ASTM, etc.) and project specifications.
Ensure structural design prioritizes safety and complies with HSE standards.
Develop R&D initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices.
