In this role you will lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface, developing working relationships and driving projects to successful completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the design process, reviewing project plans and specifications, and overseeing project budgets and timelines.

Due to ongoing delivery success with clients Australia wide, we are recruiting Project Managers at various levels in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Requirements

  • A recognised degree qualification in a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
  • Client-side consulting experience is ideal
  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Advanced Microsoft skills are essential; Primavera skills will be highly regarded
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
  • Develop working relationships, problem solve and drive projects to successful completion
  • Manage the design process to achieve client requirements and manage expectations
  • Review project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost saving measures, discrepancies, and potential construction problems
  • Manage project safety and environmental requirements
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and reporting
  • Manage project budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track
  • Chair project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Engage with marketing and business development initiatives
