In this role, you will use 3D CAD software to support the design and development of transportation infrastructure. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to produce detailed drawings and plans for highway and bridge projects in the Tyler District.

Requirements

  • Ability to use or willingness to learn 3D CAD software
  • Interest in creating and drawing technical designs
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering principles
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
  • Capability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Create and draw detailed designs using 3D CAD software for roadway and bridge projects
  • Support the design team in developing transportation infrastructure plans and specifications
  • Perform technical calculations and prepare engineering documentation
  • Review project plans for compliance with standards and regulations
  • Assist in field inspections and data collection for design projects
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure project milestones are met
