About this role

As a Structural Engineer at Amentum, you will support the development, test, and certification of liquid propulsion systems for NASA engine development programs at the Marshall Space Flight Center. You will join a multi-discipline team establishing flight rationale for America’s next generation of manned launch vehicles.

Daily work centers on engaging with senior engineers regarding liquid engine structural elements and test fixtures. You will produce independent analytical assessments and prepare technical reports and presentations for review.

Collaboration extends to vendors and personnel from other NASA centers to develop integrated flight hardware and associated ground test equipment. The workplace reflects diverse cultures and backgrounds while promoting dignity and respect.

Requirements

BS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or related field
MS degree preferred
Ability to perform structural analysis on liquid propulsion elements
Experience producing technical assessments and documentation

Responsibilities
