About this role

The Structural Engineer applies conceptual knowledge of structural engineering with moderate guidance from colleagues and leadership. The role focuses on solving a range of straightforward structural problems through analysis of possible solutions using standard procedures and technical experience.

Day-to-day work includes performing FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering along with analysis and calculations on complex tasks. Responsibilities cover preparing clear design calculations, reports, and procedures while prioritizing work to meet deadlines and budgets.

The position requires gaining familiarity with project scope, specifications, and inter-discipline requirements. The engineer initiates interfaces with other disciplines, performs computer analyses of structures, and conducts engineering checks prepared by others within the discipline.
