At KONE, our mission is to improve the flow of urban life. As a global leader in the lift and escalator industry, KONE provides lifts, escalators and automatic doors. Due to exciting projects, KONE is looking for a Construction Manager to join our Lifts Installation team in the North West.
The Construction Manager is accountable for managing the scope, schedule and budget of assigned projects. They act as the KONE interface to customers and other stakeholders, focusing on customer satisfaction and KONE profitability. This includes leading project start-ups, reviews, reporting and facilitating site preparations.
The role involves leading and managing the installation team, including subcontractors, and ensuring sufficient project resourcing and competences. The manager is responsible for site operatives’ motivation and proactively managing customer communication. Safety and security awareness is a key priority, with adherence to KONE's and customer's policies.

Requirements
- People management and leadership skills
- Customer and sub-contractor relationship management
- Financial project planning and cost control
- Excellent health and safety knowledge – essential for the role
- Driving Licence
- Experience in Engineering or Construction industries
- Ability to manage project scope, schedule and budget
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from sales/installation handover to completion, including handover to customer and Maintenance.
- Lead and manage the installation team, including subcontractors, ensuring sufficient project resourcing and competences.
- Proactively manage customer communication throughout the project, ensuring professional stakeholder management.
- Account for project financial planning and forecasting, cash flow management, and revenue management, capitalizing on change order opportunities.
- Create and maintain safety and security awareness among employees and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to KONE's and customer's safety policies.
- Oversee site preparations, readiness, storage and logistics, and needed resources and tools.
- Conduct successful project start-ups, project reviews, project reporting and facilitation.
