About this role

Bauer Foundation Corp., the U.S. subsidiary of the world-renowned Bauer Group, seeks a Project Manager to organize and manage complex civil engineering projects. This role leads the project delivery team in achieving goals through managing resources, mitigating risk, and facilitating solutions from pre-construction through close-out.

Day-to-day tasks include developing project scope, goals, and deliverables, conducting cost analysis, and preparing budgets based on estimates. The Project Manager performs risk assessments, reports identified risks to management, and acts as a liaison between company, clients, contractors, and vendors.

The Project Manager oversees a team of engineers, superintendents, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. This position is based in The Woodlands, Texas, with projects throughout the Gulf Coast, and reports to the Operations Manager.

As part of the Bauer Group, a world leader in foundation engineering, the Project Manager utilizes the most up-to-date equipment and installation techniques. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex excavation pits, ground improvement, deep foundations, and vertical seals across the United States.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel to project sites throughout the Gulf Coast.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately.
  • Thorough understanding of project accounting and demonstrated ability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  • Lead an interdepartmental team to complete projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct cost analysis, prepare and implement budgets based on estimates.
  • Perform risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Act as liaison between the company, clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage and supervise consultants, contractors, and subject matter experts in planning and construction.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations and best practices.
