ICMS is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead a large construction project, responsible for oversight of all construction efforts at the project site. This individual works with limited supervision and general direction, independently applying advanced techniques to complex assignments as a fully competent, experienced professional.
The role involves day-to-day project management for construction and service projects, including coordination with customers, schedule review, design review, and developing solutions to construction problems encountered in the field. The Senior Project Manager supports the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) by performing all project management tasks and reviewing contractor submittals for contract conformance.
This position requires collaboration with the contracting officer throughout acquisition phases, including answering offeror questions, attending site visits, and participating in joint contractor-government meetings. The successful candidate will draft technical responses to change orders and prepare statements of work and cost estimates for new contracts and modifications.
Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor's degree desired in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of technical training and experience)
- Prefer Project Management or other project management certification
- Minimum of 20 years project management work experience on commercial or Government construction projects over $50M
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in managing contracts, budgets, and schedules
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable reference and background check results
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet federal government security clearance standards at a Public Trust level
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of construction related activities for contracts
