The Construction Manager II acts as the contractor and/or owner’s representative throughout all phases of construction projects. Ensures scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and compliance objectives are met in mission-critical environments.
Manages projects of complex scope from pre-construction through turnover and closeout. Coordinates architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and operations stakeholders. Provides structured reporting, risk management, and decision support while working independently or under limited supervision.
Drives project progression by administering contracts, leading team meetings, and tracking deliverables like submittals and RFIs. Oversees field activities to verify installations meet drawings, specifications, codes, and owner requirements. Enforces coordination plans and maintainability standards across 75–100% U.S. travel assignments.

Requirements
- Ability to execute and assist on projects, tasks or assignments of complex scope
- Work independently or under limited supervision with limited directions on day-to-day work
- Integrate Owner’s Representative and Construction Management responsibilities
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and operations stakeholders
- Manage risk logs, verify design intent, quality expectations, and maintainability standards
- Familiarity with preconstruction planning, bid/evaluation activities, and closeout documents
- Comfortable with 75–100% travel across the U.S. unless assigned to an extended project
- Located near a major U.S. airport
Responsibilities
- Administer contracts and lead project team meetings
- Drive issue closure with subject matter experts and project partners
- Manage project progression from design through as-built, coordinating, reviewing, and tracking deliverables
- Advocate for budget, schedule, and contract oversight as single point of coordination for owner requirements
- Monitor budget and schedule drivers, surface scope/cost impacts, and recommend mitigation
- Oversee construction administration, tracking submittals and RFI responses
- Provide daily/weekly oversight of trades to verify installations meet drawings, specifications, codes, and owner requirements
- Provide concise, regular leadership updates on progress, blockers, risks, and priorities
