In the home office, establish a CM Organization and provide leadership for construction scope implementation. Coordinate with Client, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Contractors while setting goals for PULSE HSE, Quality, Project Cost, and Schedule. HSSE and Quality Program initiatives serve as primary drivers.
Develop and implement a comprehensive Construction Execution Plan across project phases including Feasibility, BEDP, Pre-FEED/FEL 2, FEED/FEL 3, and EPC. Prepare Constructability Plan, Temporary Facilities Plan, and establish Construction Techniques and Best Practices. Review Health Safety and Environment Plan, Quality Plan, Subcontract Strategy, and more.
On site, monitor project labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment while taking actions to maintain control. Supervise discipline supervisors through planning, means, methods, manpower, and schedules. Ensure work conforms to schedule, quality, and HSE standards via readiness reviews and routine surveys.
Assess performance of CM Organization, subcontractors, and service providers. Provide construction input to estimates, schedules, presentations, and proposals. Travel to meet clients and visit sites, interfacing with field engineering for design clarifications.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead construction management organizations in home office and site settings
- Expertise in developing Construction Execution Plans, Constructability Plans, and Temporary Facilities Plans
- Strong focus on HSSE and Quality Program initiatives in construction environments
- Experience coordinating with clients, engineering, procurement, and contractors on energy projects
- Proficiency in reviewing subcontract scopes, Technical Bid Tabulations, and Commercial Bid Tabulations
- Knowledge of construction techniques, heavy haul/heavy lift, modularization, and site material control
- Ability to assess performance of construction teams, subcontractors, and service providers
- Familiarity with project phases such as FEED/FEL 3, EPC, and constructability studies
Responsibilities
- Establish a CM Organization (Home Office and Site Offices) and provide leadership and direction to implement construction scope requirements
- Coordinate and communicate with Client, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Contractors; establish goals for PULSE HSE, Quality, Project Cost, and Schedule
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Construction Execution Plan (CEP) and deliverables for project phases including Feasibility, BEDP, Pre-FEED/FEL 2, FEED/FEL 3, and EPC
- Prepare project Constructability Plan, Temporary Facilities Plan, and review Health Safety and Environment Plan, Quality Plan, Subcontract Strategy
- Monitor project labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment on site and take necessary actions to control
- Supervise and direct Supervisors through planning, means and methods, manpower requirements, material quantities, equipment needs, and work schedule
- Ensure construction work proceeds in conformity with schedule, quality, and HSE; conduct Construction Readiness Reviews
- Interface with field engineering for design/drawings clarification and attend key quality inspections and HSE meetings
