About this role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team on the Miami Signature Bridge project. This role involves working on interesting and complex projects that make a meaningful impact. We look for individuals who hunt for better ways of doing things and soak up information to make better decisions.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will manage project planning, scheduling, and coordination. You will oversee safety and quality control management, and handle accurate forecasting and budgeting. You will also manage critical subcontractors, change orders, and resolve problems involving labor disputes, material delivery, and contract administration.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous construction experience preferred.
  • Ability to establish relationships and lead people.
  • Willingness to relocate as required.
  • Experience managing project budgets and change orders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Oversee safety and quality control management.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and management of budgets.
  • Handle change order management.
  • Manage critical subcontractors.
  • Supervise and manage Project Engineers.
  • Resolve problems involving labor disputes, material delivery, and contract administration.
  • Maintain vehicle, equipment, and tools management.
