You will perform analysis and design according to Canadian and US Codes and Standards while ensuring all new structural designs meet applicable laws and Nutrien specifications. The position also requires maintaining Asset Integrity Management system documentation and planning asset inspections in industrial environments.
This role provides field support to Maintenance, Operations and Capital Projects as the civil and structural single point of contact. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while delivering engineered repairs and technical oversight in brownfield settings.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
- 5 to 10 years of experience in civil/structural engineering and design, preferably at a potash site or in an industrial setting
- Strong safety commitment and safety leadership
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Computer Aided Structural Analysis software such as Staad Pro or SAP2000
- Working knowledge of Navisworks or similar 3D BIM collaboration software
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with Corporate Structural Integrity Guidance Documents
- Perform analysis and design as per Canadian and US Codes and Standards
- Ensure new structural designs and installations meet codes, standards, and regulations
- Maintain the Asset Integrity Management system documentation and Asset database
- Plan, schedule and conduct asset inspections, review and report findings
- Design engineered repairs in a brownfield environment
- Provide field support to Maintenance, Operations and Capital Projects
- Write technical scope of works and create work packages
