Lead and support geotechnical design and investigations from concept to delivery across dynamic UK projects. Take ownership from desk study through to detailed design, managing investigations including soil/rock logging, sampling and in-situ testing. Produce high-quality geotechnical reporting and design solutions for foundations, earthworks, retaining structures and slopes.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, provide expert advice to clients and deliver creative, sustainable geotechnical solutions. Bring curiosity, commercial awareness and innovation to every project as a go-to technical expert. Expect variety, challenge and collaboration on major construction and earthworks projects.

Requirements
- Degree in a geotechnical or related discipline
- Experience across geotechnical investigations and design delivery
- Knowledge of UK design codes (including EC7), standards and specifications
- Experience working on geotechnical projects within the UK
- Strong communication and project-management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and geotechnical software
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel when needed
Responsibilities
- Lead and support geotechnical design and investigations from concept to delivery
- Manage and supervise geotechnical investigations, including soil/rock logging, sampling and in-situ testing
- Produce high-quality geotechnical reporting and design solutions
- Design foundations, earthworks, retaining structures and slopes
- Use advanced geotechnical software (e.g. Plaxis 2D/3D, settlement and slope stability tools)
- Collaborate across disciplines and support major construction and earthworks projects
- Provide expert advice to clients on a wide range of UK projects
