We're seeking a Civil or Geological Engineer specialist in Geotechnical Engineering for our Ground Engineering team. This role focuses on designing geotechnical infrastructure like earth movements, slope stability, retaining structures, and foundations.
Perform geotechnical designs and provide specialized technical expertise in earth movements, slope stability, retaining structures, and foundations. Offer guidance to support engineers and CAD Technicians while participating in interdisciplinary project reviews. Conduct quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and reliability in designs, calculations, and drawings.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or engineering geology with 6+ years of experience in geotechnical design for projects related to earth movements, slope stabilization, retaining structures and foundations
- Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering or civil engineering with emphasis in geotechnical engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, at least 5 in geotechnical design for earth movements, slope stabilization, retaining structures and foundations
- Experience in modeling and design of earth movements, slope stability, retaining structures and foundations
- Proficiency with at least one engineering software in finite element analysis for deformation and flow analysis
- Proficiency in at least one engineering software package for geotechnical engineering (e.g. GEO 5, Rocscience)
- General knowledge in drawing software like AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Advanced command of English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
- Perform geotechnical designs for earth movements, slope stability, retaining structures, and foundations
- Provide guidance to support engineers and CAD Technicians
- Provide specialized knowledge to studies and designs in geotechnical engineering related to earth movements, slope stability, retaining structures, and foundations
- Participate in interdisciplinary project reviews to ensure cohesive and fully integrated designs
- Conduct quality control reviews of geotechnical designs, calculations, and drawings
- Prepare and manage technical specification sections related to geotechnical designs
- Assist in the preparation of engineering budgets and schedules
