We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and make a significant impact on groundbreaking projects. This role involves shaping the world beneath our feet through expertise in soil and rock conditions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site investigations to assess soil and rock conditions, performing geotechnical analysis and calculations, and designing foundations, retaining structures, and slope stabilization systems. You will also prepare clear and concise reports and recommendations.

You will collaborate with project teams to integrate geotechnical considerations and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to specifications. Additionally, you will track budgets and project financials, maintain positive business relationships with clients, government officials, and contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License, preference to State of Texas
  • Experience in geotechnical investigations and geotechnical (or related) reports
  • Experience defining testing plans and interpreting test data
  • Experience performing engineering analyses for foundation design
  • Experience with drilling, boring plan layout, and site preparation issues
  • Experience with slope stability and seismic hazard evaluations and structural special inspections
