In this role, you will help execute municipal water and wastewater projects for our Florida clients, facilitating the design and construction of complex treatment and infrastructure projects. Your work will include developing budgets, schedules, contract obligations, and quality standards while performing civil engineering work focused on site design components like yard piping, roadways, paving, grading, and stormwater infrastructure.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
- 6 to 12 years of directly-relevant experience in civil engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- Experience with local utility codes and utility permitting process; ability to review plans and specifications against local codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Responsibilities
- Help execute municipal water and wastewater projects for our Florida clients
- Help facilitate the design and construction of complex wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects, including the development and execution of budgets, schedules, contract obligations, and quality standards
- Perform civil engineering work in water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance infrastructure, focused on site design project components including site layout, yard piping, roadways, paving and grading, and stormwater infrastructure
- Work on engineering planning and design projects and perform conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report preparation
- Develop civil engineering plans and specifications and prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
- Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
- Review contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications, and evaluate requests for information
- Assist project managers with permitting submittals for treatment facilities and infrastructure projects including coordination with various governmental agencies
