About this role

We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Potable Tank Capital Delivery team as a Project Manager in our Minworth office. This is an office-based role where you will play a key role in day-to-day management and safety of projects.

You will be responsible for managing the six aspects of a project: scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources. Your well-developed interpersonal skills in leadership, communication and conflict management are vitally important.

Key accountabilities include evaluating tender submissions for value for money and contract negotiations. You will take responsibility for capital financial management ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and to agreed standards. You will manage framework suppliers and service providers, and drive project plans highlighting issues to allow team support.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified or with relevant industry experience in Project and Programme Delivery
  • Forward thinking and innovative Project Manager capable of managing multiple capital engineering and construction works
  • Experience of managing NEC projects
  • Proven track record of cost planning and management and budgetary responsibility
  • Knowledge of managing projects in construction and following CDM standards
  • Full UK Driving License

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate tender submissions to ensure value for money
  • Conduct contract negotiations with support of our commercial department
  • Take responsibility for capital financial management ensuring all deliverables are achieved, within budget, on time and to agreed company standards
  • Manage framework suppliers and service providers to deliver capital work streams on key construction projects
  • Ensure CDM standards are met and high standards of H&S compliance
  • Drive the project plan and milestone delivery, highlighting issues or blockers to allow the team to support in successful delivery
  • Work with the wider Potable Tank Team to ensure all work streams are coordinated and managed

  • Salary £47,000.00 - £55,000 depending on experience
