About this role
Join Service Stream's Defence division as a Hydraulic Engineer supporting the PAS contract. This permanent full-time role oversees hydraulic services across multiple defence bases in the Northern Territory. Open to interstate candidates interested in relocating to the NT.
You will coordinate with stakeholders to align with project goals and conduct inspections of hydraulic systems. Develop Water Quality Management and Waste Water Management plans, along with Service Definition Tables. Manage bore water systems and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent highly desirable
- Relevant certifications in Water Quality Management (WQM) and Waste Water Management (WWM)
- Experience in managing bore water systems and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement abilities and complex project management experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Australian Citizen able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to maintain alignment with overall project goals
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of hydraulic systems and processes
- Develop and implement Water Quality Management (WQM) and Waste Water Management (WWM) plans
- Develop and maintain Service Definition Tables (SDT) for hydraulic services
- Ensure compliance with Waste Water Operating Authority requirements
- Manage bore water systems, including maintenance and compliance
- Prepare reports and documents for regulatory compliance and project management
- Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team
